Narrator:
Listen dear friends
To a heartwarming tale
About a band of animals
From riverdale

Some of them are furry,
And some are feathered,
But, each one is old
And somewhat weathered.

To feel useful and needed,
They are at a loss
Till one special day
When all their paths cross.

Two Donkeys:
Hee haw, hee haw
What are we going to do?
It's times like these
We feel we could sing the blues.
Our master just said
We're getting too old
He wants to just throw us
Out in the cold!
Hee haw, hee haw
Hee haw, hee haw, hee haw!

Donkey 1:
Say, there, bud
That sounded pretty good!
You could become a singer
I really think you should!

Donkey 2:
Well, i guess it is true
We both can sing and wail
Say, we could become musicians
And run off to riverdale!
Our master thinks we're old
So let's flee this scene
You go and grab your flute
And i'll grab my tambourine!
